Mendocino Eco Artists (MEA) are a group of artists who work together to promote conservation and restoration of the local environment. We are professional painters, sculptors, and photographers who live, work, and draw their creative inspiration from this beautiful place. We work as partners with Local Environmental Groups and use our art to help increase public awareness of our region's challenges and to raise funds through sale of our artwork to help our conservation partners achieve their goals. We have our annual Summer Exhibit at the Standford Inn by the Sea Partners with: Mendocino Land Trust (MLT), Mendocino Area Parks (MAPA), Noyo Center for Marine Science (NCMS) Sponsor for Salmon Restoration Association (SRA): A non-profit organization, located in Fort Bragg, California, dedicated to the restoration of the salmon resource in Mendocino County, California.
Donate artwork annually for the "Pure Mendocino" fund raiser, and Mother's Day projects.
The Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County is a grassroots organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for those in Mendocino County faced with cancer. Our vision is that no one in Mendocino County will face cancer alone.
Featured Winesong! Artist in 2011 and have been participating for many years. Winesong! is the premiere annual charity auction & wine + food tasting on the Mendocino Coast & is produced by the Mendocino Coast Hospital Foundation.
Proceeds are used to enhance equipment, facilities and services at the Mendocino Coast District Hospital.
Since 1985 Winesong has raised over $7.5 million for improvements in local healthcare.... more..
Featured Artist in 2009 for Art in the Gardens, Member of the Botanical Gardens, and participant in the Bird House Projects over the years. More than 70,000 people a year experience the wonder of nature at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, in all its seasons. This is a place to play, to contemplate, to learn, to relax, to touch, to smell, to feel, to enjoy, to be inspired, and to experience the simple wonder and beauty of life.
Featured Artist for the annual Mendocino Coast Garden Tour in 2008, and a member and volunteer of the Mendocino Art Center for many years. The Mendocino Art Center is an educational institution that fosters engagement, exploration and excellence in the arts.
